How it Works

Get in touch with your ideas and send over your photographs. I’ll advise which images will work best and discuss your requirements.
2. Agree the Details
We’ll confirm the size, composition and price. A 20% deposit secures your booking and I’ll begin planning your painting.
3. Your Painting Comes to Life
Your artwork is carefully created in oils, with attention to detail and character. Once complete, the final balance is due before delivery or collection.

Reference Material
High-quality reference material is essential for creating a detailed and accurate painting. I usually work from photographs - ideally one strong image, supported by a few additional photos to help me fully understand the subject.
Whenever possible, I’m happy to take the photographs myself if you are local, but in most cases I work from images supplied by clients.
If you’re unsure which photographs to use, feel free to send them over and I’ll advise what will work best.
For the best results, images should be:
- Clear and high resolution
- Well-lit, with visible detail
- Close enough to show the subject clearly
Pricing
Oil paintings (unframed, single subject):
- 20 x 30 cm (Canvas Board) - £350
- 30 x 40 cm (Canvas Board) - £450
The Painting
Each painting is created in oils on canvas board and carefully varnished to protect the finished artwork. Once the painting is fully dry, it will be securely packaged and can be safely posted, or collected by arrangement if preferred.
Framing
Paintings are supplied unframed, allowing you to choose a frame that best suits your own style and home.
Sending Your Images
You can send your reference images in a number of ways:
- Email (subject to file size limits)
- WeTransfer (recommended for large files)
- Memory stick (returned after upload)
- Printed photographs (returned after completion)
Please note: If your images were taken by a professional photographer, you must have their permission before they can be used.
Postage
Postage is charged separately and will be confirmed once the size and destination are known.
Payment
A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
The remaining balance is due upon completion, before delivery or collection. Payment can be made via PayPal or credit card.
